Katy Bohinc is a poet and mathematician. She has three books of poetry and two edited volumes. Bohinc also works as a data scientist and technologist in the field of marketing, with over ten years of experience analyzing results for the world's largest brand names.
Bohinc is a self-taught astrologer, studying since 2006 by testing natal chart readings on victims in bars and parties (who tend to love a 45 minute discourse on themselves.) She began researching astrology as a bridge between her interest in ancient culture and astrology's constant references in historical literature ("Let us not be star-crossed lovers!" Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet.)
